Consultation with Dr. Key

Upon your arrival, you will meet with a member of the Key Laser Institute’s consultation team who will introduce you to our practice. A licensed medical aesthetician or nurse with specialized training in dermatology—your consultant—will review your at-home skin care routine, gather information about any medications that you are currently taking, as well as any allergies you may have. Afterwards, Dr. Key will meet with you privately, and you will have an opportunity to discuss in more detail your areas of interest, and your goals for treatment. By the end of your appointment, a member of the consultation team will have prepared a personalized treatment plan, and will be happy to review it with you.

Feel free to bring makeup, but please arrive with a clean face or plan on removing any makeup prior to your consultation. For your convenience, the Key Laser Institute offers a full range of quality skin care products.

A $100 fee is payable at the time of your comprehensive consultation. The Key Laser Institute accepts cash, check, VISA or MasterCard, as well as CapitalOne Healthcare and CareCredit.

Please plan ahead so as to arrive on time. Should you find yourself running late, simply call Patient Services at 503-291-1953, and we will make every effort to accommodate you. If you arrive more than 15 to 20 minutes late, your appointment may need to be rescheduled.
Because of our concern for the safety of your children and your comfort, we ask that you please refrain from bringing children under the age of 16 to your consultation unless they, too, are scheduled for an appointment.

Skin Care, Tattoo Removal, and Injectables Consultations

If your area of interest is limited to skin care, tattoo removal, or injectable treatment you may meet with one of our clinical associates for your consultation. Consultations regarding BOTOX® Cosmetic or dermal fillers are with a registered nurse or nurse practitioner. Please inquire with Patient Services upon pre-registering and scheduling your appointment, if a consultation fee is applicable.
